OligoMaker has a pre-installed software that is operated by a touch screen. The software is included free of charge.
Create a run
Use Microsoft Excel to transfer your sequence data from your PC or MAC to the OligoMaker. Transfer of sequence data can be executed using a network connection (wireless) or a USB key (PC, MAC and Excel is not included).
Settings
On your PC or Mac (Excel sheet needed) you can operate:
- Opening times of valves
- Reagent addition
- Suction time for draining the columns
- Gradient etc.
The Settings are transferred together with the sequences to OligoMaker. You may have standard settings in your Excel sheet for 40 nmol, 0.2 umol and for 1 umol scales, for CPG columns and polystyrene columns, for short primers and for long primers, respectively.
The software can be used for all types of OligoMaker and is simple and very user friendly.
Options
- Can be interrupted and new sequences can be added during a run (only OligoMaker 12/6)
- Collect data on a PC during the synthesis
CE Marking
On May 24th, 2009 our DNA synthesizer – OligoMaker – obtained an official CE marking.
